Le Professeur will be staying at the Emirates Stadium. Arsene Wenger has committed his future with Arsenal after signing a three-year contract extension that will see the Frenchman manage the club until June 2014.
According to Arsenal.com, Arsene Wenger said: "My heart belongs to Arsenal and my desire to see this team win silverware.
"My commitment and drive are as strong and fresh as ever. Signing a new deal means that I can see this talented group of players reach their potential. Trust me, they are ready to deliver.
"With my staff and players we are in front of an exciting challenge and we are looking forward to achieving much success."
Wenger is the longest-serving manager in Arsenal's history as he has managed the side since October 1996. At the time of his appointment, the Strasbourg native, was a relative unknown in England, and was famously greeted by The Evening Standard headline 'Arsene Who?'
After taking over the reins of the North London side, Wenger was quick to let his presence be known in English football. He lead the team to winning the League title and FA Cup in his first full season as manager in 1998. Under Wenger, Arsenal also won the Double in 2002.
In 2004, Wenger became the only manager in English Premier League history to go through an entire season without a defeat.
During his tenure at Arsenal, Wenger has accumulated an impressive tally of honours by winning a total of three League titles, four FA Cups, and four Community Shields. The Frenchman has also lead the club to a finals appearance in the UEFA Champions League in 2006.
Prior to arriving in England, Wenger held managerial posts at Ligue 1 sides Nancy and AS Monaco, and at Nagoya Grampus Eight of the J. League.
